NEW 320 TPI TUBULAR TIRES
A Tufo or World Class type valve extender will work with this arrangement, however the entire stem must be unscrewed from the tire. A small nub will remain on the tire, the valve extender can be screwed onto this nub and the previously removed stem can then be reinstalled on the end of the valve extender.
Carefully check for any leaks at the tire connection, if the tire leaks at this connection tighten the extender slightly (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN) as this transmits the turning force directly to the tube, If there is still a leakage issue try a small dab of silicone seal around the O ring.
